Nominate Yourself or a Real Life Achiever
Because Courage Is Contagious and Worth Celebrating.
Do you know someone whose actions have inspired change, challenged injustice, or upheld truth against all odds? Or have you yourself walked a path of integrity, resilience, and public service that deserves to be recognized?
The IPJA Real Life Achiever Award honors individuals - journalists or citizens - who have made a meaningful impact through fearless reporting, civic courage, or ethical leadership. We welcome nominations from across India, and we believe that those who uplift others should be uplifted too.
Who Can Be Nominated?
You can nominate:
- Yourself - if you've led or contributed to a cause, story, or action that advanced truth, justice, or public good
- Someone else - a journalist, educator, activist, whistleblower, or everyday citizen whose work has made a real difference
- Individuals from rural, tribal, or marginalized communities are especially encouraged
What the Award Offers
- National recognition at the IPJA Annual Conclave
- A citation plaque and honorarium
- Media amplification of the recipient's story
- Optional mentorship or support for ongoing work
"I nominated myself with hesitation. But IPJA saw the value in my work and gave it wings."
